Agreed - Nickleback is too meh to inspire any serious hate in me. Well, there are one or two songs they've released that I found rather irritating, but most of them were, well, competent enough that I usually don't change the station if one comes by on the radio. Creed's music, though, seems kind of like boiled shrimp. It's OK when it first comes out, but after a little bit of time goes by it REALLY starts to stink. Although as others have noted, Scott Stapp's voice probably deserves a sizable amount of the blame. It could be worse, though - could you imagine Billy Corgan trying to sing "With Arms Wide Open?"

I'm both horrified and intrigued at the same time....

There's a small, sad part of me that wants to hear that.

The bluegrass Van Halen album is pure E36 M3. David Lee Roth sucks.

Somebody once made me listen to a band called "Halestorm." It had a female vocalist.

I asked them when Chad Kroeger had gotten a sex-change operation.

When I came up with that example, I've got to admit I kind of wondered what it would sound like myself. But I strongly doubt I'd want to hear it more than once.

One of my close friends in high school was pretty close with Scott Stapp's cousin in high school. She threw a huge party and he showed up, my band of hooligans gave this guy so much crap for his crappy music that he threw a hissy fit, broke some things in his aunt and uncles house and proceeded to leave cursing everyone to hell. It was hilarious and we all laughed our buttock's off. For someone who had money and was semi-popular at the time (I was high school whilst Creed had some big hits) he sure did take criticism like a 13 year old girl going through puberty.

With that being said, Creed is by far the worst. Nickleback is still horrible they are just so bland that I don't care. I heard an interview with Chad where he even said that he knows he makes crap music sometimes and that the band jokes about it all the time, the guy is a troll.

While I'm not much of a fan of Coldplay, their talent level is a million times that of Creed or Nickelback.

Nickelback is a rehash of Creed, thus they are worse. Creed is a rehash of grunge. They sound like what every bar band around 1994 sounded like.

Creed and Nickelback are cancer in musical form.
