Yep. Click on the heart on the bottom of the text window.

this has never worked for me. I click the heart on all my build threads and have never received an email.

Did you check if all the notifications are going into your spam box?
does this sort of notification have the same problem as PM's do … won't work if your email address is with Yahoo ?

that's what I had to switch to, to be able to get PM's … but I don't get any thread notifications 
Weird. Ask the board owners I guess.
There is a check box in your profile called.
"Send Watchlist Notifications?"
Checking this allows you to receive emails whenever items you are watching are updated.
Now when I click the heart I get an email. (which I did have to remove from my junk email box and mark as "safe".)
