Instant karma...

Was coming back from my sister's place this afternoon. I'm rolling at the speed limit on a nice little road following a river when this guy in a red Charger passes me like a complete idiot over a full yellow line just so he can get to the upcoming stop sign one place in front.

At this point, I'm thinking to myself: "Where are the cops when you need them?"....

Well about a second after telling myself that, I look in the rear view mirror, and see that the silver Dodge Journey behind me has just lit up the blue and red lights! It passes me and goes after the guy who pulls over just after the intersection.

Just as I am passing by, the cute blonde police lady looks at me and smiles. Can't help but smile back.

Thank you cute lady-cop, you've made my day.

I had a very similar event with a drunk (or just a douchebag)in a Corvette on I-85 between Opelika and Auburn late one night I the mid 80s. We were heading home to Montgomery from a very long day trip to a ballgame in Clemson. This guy kept matching my speed and blocking me from getting into the left lane. He finally flew my me and I said the same thing you did and POOF, cop pulls in right behind him and lights him up. There was a Holiday Inn with a very popular night club at the exit he got on the interstate at and I suspect somebody there dropped a dime on him.

It was dark and I couldn't see if it was cute lady cop.

So they issue the lady cops minivans?
