I'm a big dog lover, but those commercials nausiate me when there's PEOPLE in this world that need the same help.

The worst for me right now is a Chrysler minivan commercial with a whispering announcer. I can't avoid it because it always gets interspersed into OnDemand shows.

I swear it sounds like "Other minivans have similar safety features. But we know where you live and will smother your children in their sleep if you don't buy our's."

berkeleying creepy commercial.

^ This. And any commercial where some bozo repeats a phone number 5 or 6 times.

I have to say, my favorite commercial on air right now is the GoPro Commercial from the roll hoop of that Formula Mazda car, nothing but engine. Awesome.

Wow. Not surprisingly, GoPro has some really good commercials. Nothing crazy, fancy, or inane. Just actual footage from their products of people doing awesome things. It's nice to see a commercial where you can actually see exactly what the product is capable of. Now, must of us won't be using it to drive a formula car or para-ski down a French mountain, but at least we're not being pandered to.

The one where he tries to pass down the inside of a Radical and ends up putting two wheels off in the process?

Or the one at Laguna Seca. This is an extended version of that same commercial.

Sheesh...where do I start? Maybe the one where the stupid-looking cartoon character tells a stupid cartoon "audience" how their company can save you from the IRS (done in a stupid squeaky cartoon clown voice, of course). Really?! These are the shiny happy people you want going to bat for you against the IRS?!

One area of pop culture I'm completely devoid of.

With no cable/OTA signal (by choice) I only see commercials if I happen to be at a bar watching a game or a friends house.

Those are alright, but the Geico "Little Piggy" commercial drives me nuts. I don't know why I'd be hauling a talking pig around in my car, but I would have turned it into bacon 2 minutes into the trip if it were being THAT annoying!

Any of the current pisswater light beer commercials make me roll my eyes.

I also dislike those "Cash For Gold!" or "Invest In Gold Coin!" commercials, simply because they are such blatant scams. If you get fleeced by once of these scams, you deserve it.

I've stopped watching TV but I still watch several shows on Hulu. The commercials there are annoying and repeated constantly because they don't have a big pool of advertisers, I guess.

I do listen to the radio for a couple hours a day while commuting and the O'Reilys commercial is damned annoying but my least favorite is a McD commercial about their biscuits.

The announcer goes on and on about how "in the South" biscuits are like a form of currency and Micky D's biscuits are so good they should be worshiped. The clincher for me though is the end when they have a little bit like the guy is going through a drive thru. He's asked if the one biscuit hes ordered will be all and he answers "Yes ma'am." Now, all through the commercial he has been accent-neutral like a news caster but this last line comes out like he is channeling Jethro Bodine with a head wound.

There are 2, well, actually 3 I want to pitch the tv really hard onto the floor when they come on. 2 are for that so called college called Everest. The worst one features a woman with a really whiney voice telling you "hey girls, you do this, that, and the other thing for your family, SURELY you can fit in going to college, too". And the other really bad commercial features a woman, with a nearly identical whiney voice who "pitches" 1 800-ASK GARY. In that one she tells you "....and you may even be eligible to get $10,000". Like, no matter how real or bogus your claim, how small or big your injury....you somehow deserve, AT THE VERY LEAST $10,000.

Too bad, because I actually know the answer, and it's too strange not to post: we live in a strange world.

Short version: the industry regulatory body asked them to show bits of TP stuck to the, uh, bear behinds.

Bet they will probably blame it on operator error just like everything else

The new set of Mini commercials. It is perpetuating a new set of mini drivers that think they can drive on the streets like that.

As of late there have been more mini drivers that I have had to seriously consider if I really want to hit the brakes in my big SUV when they cut me off. One day I am just not going to. Probably wont even notice it actually.
