So there was an issue in attempting to embed an Instagram story of John Mayer's that resulted in several failed attempts to start the thread.
They can all be deleted. I don't think that he's trolling for the record I think that it's more imitation is a sincere form of flattery. Mayer has a great sense of humour and also doesn't really take part in projects that he won't personally enjoy doing.
Haha, just watched it, yeah it's an illusion towards all the yacht rock bands having a resurgence now (see Weezer covering Toto Africa) and such.
TIL the term "Yacht Rock." Much more socially acceptable name than what I usually call that genre of music.
