Links? Experience? Caveats?
Lern me.
Boatsetter.
did it. Works great. Guy I rented from only rents it on a very popular lake around here and from one boat ramp/location near his house.
He tolD me that doing this allows him to afford a nicer boat than he could get on his own.
He did say he has extra private insurance as some people just party and trash things.
Most rentals are based on location, not so much boat type. Pick a body of water you would like to cruise, then google search that area.
Many times I rent at different locales along the Florida coast finding more economical than hauling my boat a long way.
https://carefreeboats.com/ is the one out here in San Diego, there may be others.

I'm not interested in hauling a boat of any type. I'm interested in knowing if any sites are viable, so I can use them to rent my boat to others on the lake I live on.
https://yourboatclub.com is mostly in Minnesota, but they have boats available in a few other locations.
Have you thought of just creating a website for renting your boat?
Most people renting start with google asking for "boat rentals on Lake Whatever". In your case you would get the hits.
Downside you would have to support it, and have the insurance etc. Upside you would possibly clear more profits (cut out paying the middle man).
YMMV

Thanks.
I've got way too much work to do with the primary revenue streams of my business to want to dedicate the time to that. This is just a side gig.
I'll leave the website development to companies like Turo and AirBnB. Don't mind paying them for what they do well.
Thanks for the idea.
