That doesn't mean they are right. Especially about dolphins [David Brin's Dogma of Otherness]

David Brin is wrong. He's wrong for writing something so long that I don't read it.

Short version: We live in a culture where people have lots of different ideas, and we're taught that it is wrong to tell people they're incorrect. Brin thinks this might make it easier for us to get along, but there are problems with the idea. The facts, are the facts. Just because you believe something (e.g. that dolphins are super-intelligent) doesn't make it true.

Hey now, you're not going to be a problem, are you?

Don't worry - he only agrees with you because you are both wrong for different reasons.

This picture literally made me laugh out loud. That doesn't happen very often.

Agreed. But today, having and holding tightly to an opinion is vastly more important than actually knowing what you're talking about. And by god, never change an opinion to match the facts, or any new information that comes to light.
