Apparently the tornado index hasn't been this high since the April 2012 outbreak.
I'm more concerned about the possible 90 mph straight line winds and baseball-sized hail they were talking about this morning.

And the followup disaster of the insurance companies dodging claims. "Sorry, that damage was done by wind blown flood hail, had it been wind blown hail flood you've have been covered..."

That was my biggest take-away from 2013, give me a total loss over a partial loss every time. My claim was cut and dry, my neighbors who only lost part of their house had to deal with months of back and forth.
Wifes already texting me worried about me riding the bike home. Don't think we're gonna get any weather this far south but she says we are.
Stay safe everyone.
Good luck guys ,
All they want us to worry about here is earthquakes , fires , mudslides and drought ,
To me yearly tornadoes treats is much worse ,
Be safe
Totally bypassed me in the FW area.
Got some more headed our way about 4:00 a.m. but not supposed to be all that bad. I've had rain about every 3rd day for so long I've grown webbed feet.
We were in Palestine, TX on Saturday. ZOMG TEH WORLDZ ENDING!!!11!!1!. Spend the night in Longview as it all passed south and north of us, then rode the bike back home Sunday with only a couple light drops. Ft. Smith, however, still had the power out when we came through around 2PM. They had an EF1 the day before.
I'm a bit jealous. I know severe weather ain't nothin to berkeley with (just like wu-tang clan) but I'm a total severe weather junkie. I miss the midwest storms.

I’m lovin’ it here in western ok ... it actually hasn’t been near as bad as they originally thought ... from what I understand the cold front came down faster than they thought or something like that and anyways there aren’t many tornadoes due to the cold more stable air
Had more action this morning, sirens started going while I was in the shower. Wish they'd schedule that for more convenient times, nothing big happening but it's hard to gauge that when the family is still asleep and you're in the bathroom.
We got a good 5 inches of snow here in the mountains and it's still snowing. I just about got a car in the front yard last night. They came really close to sliding right in.
