I'm not much for the rat-rod set, and the interior would have to go. But this is sweet! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cadillac-DeVille-1960-Cadillac-Deville-Cummins-Diesel-Rat-Rod-Classic-Vintage-Ford-Chevy-Caddy-/250925008562?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item3a6c4bc6b2
I like it. not a huge fan of the diamond plate interior, but I could live with it based on the rest of the car.
I'd lose the chain steering wheel and diamond-plate then flip the exhaust manifold the right way. I don't want exahaust blowing up on the windshield, nor do I want to see the turbo. I saw another vid of that car on youtube with fender-exiting exhaust.
Odd to see a custom Caddy that winds up heavier than stock (barring a ton of plumbing for hydraulics).
Not into the whole rat rod flat black thing at all but I have to admit that chain shifter is a piece of art.
It would be a lot cooler if all that awesome fit under the stock hood and it still had a streetable interior with working A/C.
Of course, one of my sick dreams is a 64 Lincoln Continental with diesel power. Probably a Powerstroke to keep it in the family.

OH man, I'd have had to make the venti-ports the exhaust. That'd have been cool.

Yeah I love how he claims Ike at Morbid Rodz did a horrible job putting it together. I know the car personally, have spent many miles in the passenger seat and there were no issues whatsoever with the car. It went to the Lone Star Roundup a couple years ago and got 30 miles a gallon on the highway.
FYI for anyone who wants to see pictures of the car as it was originally put together, you can find them at http://morbid-rodz.com . There's blog posts and pictures in the site gallery.

hmm.. those 60's Lincolns are cruisers- i had a 66 back in 94.. has anyone ever done a Powerstroke conversion on one? it would be the perfect car, except for the vacuum operated power locks no longer working..

Yeah. that looks terrible from an asthetic standpoint and from the baked human standpoint.

This. Turbo Caddy=win, Turbo Caddy trying too hard=fail

For some reason, I expected it to blow soot out of the portholes, sorta like a dragon or something.

The car had the original interior in it when it was put together. The current owner is the one who did all the diamond plate, chain steering wheel & shifter, and stuck the turbo out of the hood.

The guy who built the caddy wanted to build a Lincoln with a diesel, and I was going to provide him with a 68 Lincoln sedan to do it. Sadly, someone swiped it from storage and it hasn't been recovered.
At one time I had 5 Lincolns. 3 - 68s, a 69, and a 65. Love those old cars.
