Holy gods, we're already in the 90s this summer. I know I'm outside welding today, but still. This is way too hot.
Anyone in Tampa got an air conditioned shop I can steal a corner of to do some welding and general metal fab? I'm not sure if I'm joking or not.
Don't worry, hurricanes will start developing in June if it keeps up and they'll cool things down.
(I know that they don't cool anything down and the humidity after they pass is insufferable)
Also, bite my berkeleyling tongue
Yeah man, the past few days have been miserable. I got the bright idea to cut down a small tree at like 4pm on Saturday. I almost drown in my own sweat. Yesterday, I moved a bunch of junk around in my garage in the early evening and about died.
I guess it summer now
Yeah, 44 degrees here this morning. It got up to 64 but pretty chilly this time of year. Not that I'm complaining!
We are about 15 degrees below average for this time of year. Should be upper 70s low 80s and tomorrow's high is forecasted at 57
Screw you guys - We have +1C and snow-mixed-rain today.
I'm booked for a test & tune on Kinnekulle Ring on Saturday. Slicks or snow tires, that is the question....
Would you rather have the 44 degrees that it is in Michigan right now? I'm scheduled to help a buddy bring his 31' cruiser across Lake Michigan tomorrow. Pretty sure we will be in winter gear for the trip
More extreme temps and, more specifically, extreme temp fluctuations will be the norm moving forward as the climate shifts to a hotter average temp. We're supposed to be in the 40s in central Georgia Saturday morning and almost 90 by Sunday afternoon. Even for us, it's a fast change.

Exactly. That's what some people don't understand about climate change - it's not just that things are getting warmer, but more erratic. Those polar vortex cold fronts are going to get worse, and with warmer temperatures, the ocean will contain more heat energy, which will in turn make hurricanes increasingly stronger. We've seen that over the last decade or so in Florida.
When my wife and I left south Florida on February 27th, it was 85 degrees. Here in Cleveland today the low was in the mid 30s. Personally, I like chilly weather - I like warm heaters and thick blankets. Although I would like a few warm days, as I have a car that needs to be fixed.

I sent a message to the governor to turn the sun down some- I don't think he read it.
Its only gotten out of the 40s and 50s once or twice here the entire spring, they're predicting snow showers at higher altitudes a couple days this week, and constant rain and gloom the whole time.

He's been busy with (edit, political). Sun's been brutal over here on the East coast of FL for weeks. And I'm rebuilding the soffits and replacing the siding on my house. I'm inside now because it's mid day and no clouds, will go back out after 2-3 PM.

As much as I love Florida, I hate the endless summer that it has. North Florida isn't that bad, though, you get a winter and 2-3 weeks in the teens.

Teens are fine. Winter was pretty long this year and I was happy. But I'm used to an MN winter, so sweater is about as far as I get until it's below 0.
I had a guy freak out on me for not filling his propane on a night it was supposed to get down to 35. I'm thinking in the back of my head "use an extra blanket. You'll be fine". People do not understand this E36 M3.

Sorry, that was me, I put the sealant in my bike tires in early April. If I'd swapped the winter tires off the van too it would still be snowing.
