Whats with you living in New England, and hating on the Patriots? also I think you like the Rangers. What's up with that?
Chris
I'm a happy boy this Thanksgiving day ... ( football ) any time the cowboys loose I'm happy ... and since I've been a Redskin fan since before most of ya-ll were born I'm even happier

And my falcons are eeking their way thru games and will probably let me down in the divisional playoff game.
Atleast my hometown team, the texans, are finally not embarrassing to say I am a fan of.
It could be worse... you could be an Eagles fan... Boy to they stink this year.
I was really hoping the Lions would have held on for the win.
Don't feel too bad, you could be a Jags fan. At 1-9, you watch them and still get the feeling that they'll manage to finish the season winless.

I'd rather be a Chiefs fan than a Jets fan! Man that was an awesome game to watch. We were howling in laughter when Dirty Sanchez bounced off the lineman and and gave up the fumble/six.

I'm not a Tebow fan boy by any means, but give the man a shot would ya? I know most Jets fans think he sucks, but he did help the Broncos, he did carry the Gators the entire time he was there, won the heisman as a sophomore. Sanchez seems to be on the payroll if every team they're playing against. I commented to my dad last night he reminds me of the all-pro, championship ring wearing character from the replacements. Demeanor and all.

RE: The Lions: You know the league really should issue them some sort of bonus check for educating football fans everywhere of every stupid rule in the entire NFL rulebook. Process of the catch. Tackling by the hair. Losing the ability to challenge by challenging an automatically reviewed play. The thing is, they make each stupid rule violation at an absolutely critical point in the game and subsequently lose the game, ensuring that everyone who watches Sportscenter will be able to learn from the Lion's misfortune. Its very community-minded of them.
I don't see any way being a Jets fan could be any more frustrating than being a Lions fan.
It's like this, except Ndomukong Suh is the whole team, and Matt Shaub is every Lions fan.

I have no idea why they didn't put Tebow in yesterday for the fourth quarter. It's not like he could have lost the game for the Jets and it might have made for some interesting football. There's a reason everyone watched the Broncos last year.
The ten minute turnoverfest was berkeleying phenomenal. As much as I hate the cheatriots, that was a fun one to watch. I fully expected it to turn into "Battery Night."

I grew up on Long Island. Suffered thru the 80's as a Ranger fan (1940), a manic depressive NY Jets fan, but got to witness the Mets win the World Series as a Senior in High School. There you have it.
