You know, while everyone is watching the Taints try to climb back into the party, the Bengals have won two in a row and have a pretty soft schedule down the stretch—including a game with the Steelers in week 16 that may just have a Wild Card spot on the line. I would not be surprised to see them become relevant in the next few weeks.

The reason Tebow wasn't played was because he had two broken ribs.
Butt fumble, LOL!

Don't feel too bad, you could be a Jags fan. At 1-9, you watch them and still get the feeling that they'll manage to finish the season winless.

Dude, I had season tickets for the Falcons when Vick got arrested. That was a painful season. We had Leftwich AND Harrington fighting for the starting QB job that year. That dicknose Petrino as a head coach that walked out halfway through the season(one more reason I lost respect for college football). I remember chanting for Leftwich with 60,000 other people. LEFTWICH! Ol' anchor-foot Magee himself. Then the next week chanting for Harrington again.
Just a painful season and no break in ticket sales the next year made me drop my tickets.
As far as Wilfork, that man gives Refrigerator Perry a run for his money. But Wilfork would probably out run him.

I don't see any way being a Jets fan could be any more frustrating than being a Lions fan.
It's like this, except Ndomukong Suh is the whole team, and Matt Shaub is every Lions fan.
Yep, that pretty much sums it up. On a related note, kind of cracks me up some are claiming that was intentional. Apparently, Suh is the world's first 310 lb. ninja.

maybe.. Tebow
I'm not a Tebow fan boy by any means, but give the man a shot would ya? I know most Jets fans think he sucks, but he did help the Broncos, he did carry the Gators the entire time he was there, won the heisman as a sophomore. Sanchez seems to be on the payroll if every team they're playing against. I commented to my dad last night he reminds me of the all-pro, championship ring wearing character from the replacements. Demeanor and all.
my guess ... both Sanchez and Tebow gone at the end of the yr ... and maybe the coaching staff + general manager

well, the little flick of the foot at the end sure makes it look intentional ... and he does have history

Whats with you living in New England, and hating on the Patriots? also I think you like the Rangers. What's up with that?
Chris
I grew up on Long Island. Suffered thru the 80's as a Ranger fan (1940), a manic depressive NY Jets fan, but got to witness the Mets win the World Series as a Senior in High School. There you have it.
Ahh, now I see!! Sorry to question you, but I just found it odd for a New Englander to hate the Patriots. Maybe someone from Connecticut, but not a Vermonter. For the record I like the Islanders as my second favorite NHL team. Always hated the Rags!!

Dude, top-tear football players constantly amaze me with their situational awareness. Suh knew what he was doing.

C'mon man, he was obviously just trying to extricate himself from the situation.

They're doing well now, but that's the thing about the Bengals, They always seem to win once everyone in the city is fed up and stops buying tickets. As soon as people start going to games again, they get bad again. They also have an annoying tendency to play to the level of their opponents. Games they should win by a mile end up being nail-biters.
Many old New Englanders are Giants fans from before the AFL, and some of them handed down the tradition.
Some family SuperBowl parties have been a bit tense in recent years because of this.

Yeah I know a few, but that has changed a bit with the Patriots actually having a real football team over the last decade plus. It could all go away real quick when Belichick, and Brady depart.

Don't worry. They'll find a way to berkeley it up.

Well, they couldn't sellout vs the Raiders tomorrow, so there's a good chance they'll win that game, since almost no one will see it happen. But it's against Carson Palmer, so they might lose for that reason. Either way, they've got the rest of the season to be disappointing.
