Woohoo! I guess that formed out of what rolled through the eastern gulf states last week. They were thinking that it could have become TD then had it stayed over water longer

I hope not... im on the hurricane ride out team on eglin afb. Basicaly if a hurricane is going to hit us, everyone else bails out and evacs, and i shack up in our confinment cells, and ensure the security of the base and resources, then start clean up after it passes... It sounded like fun at the time...

I was at Eglin for six years and sat through my share of hurricanes that never came. Weird when the base becomes a ghost town.
that actually does sound like fun. Been through a few small hurricanes, nothing major
