Sorry to hear you didn't get it. Sounded like you were a shoo-in for a minute. A career in politics, eh? I might be with Spinout on this one..heck, you wouldn't do any worse than the guys who are in office, right?

I was bummed about the job but you just gotta roll with the punches and keep on going. There are a few other jobs I am putting in for this week so we will see what happens. There is another police job in the next town over basically just working in the office and it pays more. So I might try for that one it will just have the whole 45 minute one way commute over a mountain every day.

Yeah I have no idea where my mom came up with the idea that I should run for office. However like I said I doubt I even could at this point considering the primary has already passed and registration was back in Feb I think. Granted I am not sure how things work when there is no one even running for the position...

Granted politicians rank right up there with lawyers on my list of people I am not to fond of.

I feel the same about politicians, but have already gotten involved in politics. Just have to play as clean as possible. I foresee myself running for office after I go back to school and get a 4 or more year degree.

Prolly cuz most politicians are lawyers.

I am actually just finishing a 4 year degree, I have two classes to wrap up and I am done.
