Apparently pretty gullible.

My wife's a veterinarian, and someone forwarded this to her.

quantummansite.com/catalog/quantumvet.php (edited to remove hotlink)

I've gotta give these folks some creative props for coming up with the idea though...

"These PAKs™ allow you to open a portal that allows master programs to be transferred from ZAG's quantum computer to your pet's brain to run a set of diagnostics to determine exactly what is causing your pet's symptom(s)."

The website also shows that they sell vaccines and withdrawal cures for meth!

My wife get's one monthly publication that's filled with articles and advertisements for laser animal therapy. Not laser surgery, but applying laser light to the animal-- stories run how it's good for everything.

No one talks about how the treatment works though. Seems only marginally more likely than that light, but at least it costs more...

I had a customer years ago who was the sole US importer of Dr. Soandso's homeopathic cancer cure from Sweden. She swore up and down it was the only thing that saved her husband(who later died of a heart attack).

In getting to know her over the years, she once explained in detail about how cancer is caused by parasites...

Without a doubt, she made a lot of money selling it, and I do think she truly believed in it. But I couldn't help but feel sorry for her customer for forking over all their cash, for what was likely a no-hope situation. :(

I remember someone on this board had an in-law die while trying "alternative" cancer cures.

And it recently came out that Steve Jobs spent the first few years while he knew he had cancer trying to cure it with a healthy diet and exercise.

My own grandmother was taking some silver cure E36 M3 that was being advertised on a Christian TV channel, when I saw it I flipped out and told her and my mom about this thing called argyria. And she'd been noticing that her skin was looking a little gray...

To take it back to a GRM association, maybe associating this kind of malarkly with an out of production Volkswagen sedan makes it more credible

I work in the Rental department at Home Depot. A lady came in to rent a floor buffer. She worked for Old Navy and wanted to polish their floors. I showed her how to use it and I jokingly informed her that if she needs to add more pressure she should stand on the machine before she hits the switch.

long story short, she came back two days later with her arm in a cast and FORTUNATELY had a good sense of humor or I would have been out of a job.

in reply to gameboy. I'd rather give chance to natural remedies, diet, and exercise than dealing with the financial burden of modern medicine and dealing with the shiny happy person doctors associated with it.

Then there are some mornings I wake up and wish I was a blissfully ignorant simpleton that makes up the mass of the USofA.

Laser's not just for animals. You can hear ads for using coherent light to treat almost every thing known to man from obesity, to smoking to sleep apnea, to . . .

Lasers are the magic wands from the fairy tales.

Really, you'd rather give a chance to stuff that is well-known to not work worth a damn while cancer is festering inside you, than deal with the high costs and shiny happy person personalities of modern medicine? Well that's up to you. It sure didn't work out for Jobs.

BTW, that solution only could work if you start it from the day you're born and follow it for life. Even then it won't stop you from getting cancer (there is genetic disposition as well as environmental aspects that you can't always control), but should help your body be able to deal with whatever is thrown at it.

Well in that case just don't do anything, no need to spend your last days pumping money into the BS cure industry. I have an aunt who just continued to smoke cigarettes and live as normal until she couldn't.
