Sometimes, I think that there is a lot of bitching about the forum and how it functions and I thought for a change I would say thank you. I appreciate the fact that I can come here with a large group of like minded (mostly) people and see such posts as "Sand rail autocross/skid pad build (or, why my wife hates me)" and "'71 Fiat 850 Spider, a Sub-Liter Beater." That I can click through this website and see a few discrete ads here and there that are ALL car related. I don't have to worry about something lewd popping with the wife hovering by. That we have been granted front row access to companies like Exomotive that give daily (if not hourly) updates on the stuff they are working on. So all in all, thanks for keeping the dream alive! Now back to your regularly scheduled bitching.
Thanks to you guys, too, for making this a neat place to hang out.

Hang out? Aren't you supposed to be working? ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/crazy-18.png)
This is by far my favorite car forum.
Aw, it's so nice to come in here and see this. Thanks.
Margie
If they tracked internet usage at my company, they'd be wondering what I actually do here. 99% of the time I'm checking the forum out. Thanks for all you do GRM! See you next week at Daytona!
Thanks GRM! This is one place where I spend at least a few hours a day!
I do not use many of the forum tricks and special functions that a lot of people use so I do not notice anything annoying on this site.
Sometimes it is neat when you do FIND something hidden in the forum..

Three cheers for the GRM staff and volunteer mods!
Don't go heaping the praise on too thick they might start to get a taste for it ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/crazy-18.png)

It's okay. They know they suck.
, then they squish, then bang and finally blow....
Yes thank you guys for a great forum. I am here every day and there is always something new to read. Everyone one here is pretty cool and we have many knowledgeable people in so many different subjects.
It's like being wrapped in a warm
blanket of automotive goodness.
No matter how many times I swear I'm done with place (it's bad for my marriage) the friends I have made here and morbid curiosity bring me back.
Thanks!
Even the people who occasionally cause a ruckus, its because we, as a whole, are passionate. We care about things, especially people.
Agreed, thanks for keeping the "adult daycare" that is this site up and running!
I'll give you all a big group hug at the Rolex ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/laugh-18.png)

Thanks GRM for providing our eye on the world. This is still the only forum that I check almost daily.

I echo this sentiment. One of the best things about this forum is that it manages to stay civil most of the time while spanning a huge DNA spectrum of the car hobby.
I blame some of that on the fact that I know Marjorie is always looking; dont want to piss-off "Mom"!![](/media/img/icons/smilies/crazy-18.png)
Thank you grm staff for being here and putting out a great magazine.......
Now back to work slaves.........hehehehe
As long as we are here thanking the staff, I'd like to say thank you for proofing everything in regard to punctuation, spelling, etc. in the magazines. You may or may not realize that that is not always the case anymore.
My sister the English professor also commented on it when she thumbed though a copy at my house over the holidays. Not sure who there does it, but it doesn't go unnoticed!

That's That's Sarah, Margie and Divid mostly, but I'm not too humble to say we all have pretty sharp English skills and we're not afraid to flex them. In this world of bag-of-ass internet journalism, a properly copy edited story seems like more and more of a luxury. And even though we're not perfect and still miss a thing or two, I think that's an area where our products really stand out.
Sadly, good copy editing don't pay the light bill, which is one of those evil ironies of life that produces such "hit comedies" as The Big Bang Theory. People are perfectly accepting of crap these days. But whether or not someone notices (and we're very glad when someone does), we're all just sort of hardwired to produce a good product. And while content is the top priority, presenting that content is an professional and pleasing a way as possible is a very close second.
In short, thanks for noticing.
I concur this is a great place for people like me with helpless Automotive ADHD. I too have noticed that the copy editing of the GRM magazine is excellent in today's "come as you are" market. appreciate that as well. Thanks
