So liberty only applies to the things Mr. Olbermann cares about?
to be fair.. I think Scalia went against a hundred years or more of legal precedent. It is well documented that many towns out west banned handguns inside their limits and then hand massive decreases in murders inside the city limits. Do some reading. You know where cowboys come into town and have to turn in their guns to the sherrif... It was real. You will find that NYC was a ton more violent than the wild west towns, nearly all of which in the late 1880's-1890's had banned guns..
but.. the modern bans really had no effect so its a silly argument to make, but still an interesting one.
but I just floundered the thread.
I'm glad to see that the Apocalypse Riders (Olberman, Hannity, Beck, O'Reilly) are all losing general public interest and market share. We need more conversation and less argument.
Disagreeing with each other does not indicate a moral failure on anyone's part.
I'll be the first to admit I'm as guilty of this as the next guy. Time to turn over a new leaf.

Is this a gut-feeling, a wish or something with numbers for support?
Just curious....
IIRC Oberman was the only ESPN anchorman that was not invited back for their 25 year reunion.
Maybe he isn't just a jerk on T.V.

The End of the Wingnuts? - Don't read the whole article as some of it is off topic and/or questionable. The part you'll be interested in is here:
Here's a snapshot side-by-side comparison of their slide: On January 20th of last year, Olbermann reached an estimated 251,000 people aged 25-to-54 at 8 p.m., according to data kept by TVNewser.com. Exactly one year later, this past Thursday, he reached only 198,000—a decline of nearly 20 percent.
