A parody that captures just how awful Days of Thunder was.

That was great. And days of thunder is the bestest. The lumina Taurus scene is classic. Only better NASCAR movie is Talladega Nights.

ok.. um, let's see if i can guess:
Stroker Ace
Six Pack
Talledega Nights
Days of Thunder
in that order, right?
Watch "Last American Hero" with Jeff Bridges. Loosly based on the life of Junior Johnson. THAT'S the one.

Was going to say this.
If you can find a copy, read "Stand on it, a novel by Stroker Ace". In typical fashion, Burt Reynolds got hold of something good and turned it into a vanity play, where he could demonstrate his stupid 80's laugh.

Your list should read:
Greased Lightning
Cars
Stroker Ace
Last American Hero

Six Pack = Erin Gray = Awesome. Kenny Rogers is in the movie also.

My mother got me the tape of Six Pack when I was a kid. It was a cheesy love story with racing and mischievous orphans as subplots. It was mostly short track racing with just a little Nascar at the end. It was much less of a Nascar movie than CARS which at least had Richard Petty and heavy merchandising which have been two Nascar staples. I like Kenny Rogers well enough and Six Pack wasn't a bad movie as sappy 80's movies go but it was no Nascar movie.

And at least one is an adaptation of a book. That writer missed their target market, that's doing releasing a book on tape of "living and adapting to the severe hearing loss and deafness"
