Just finished this, total weight on the rack is about 200 pounds. Rack sits in stake pockets. Should I do some bracing to the bed rails or triangulate some? Sits pretty solid but not sure, this is the biggest load I have put on the roof.

I think you're probably fine, I see guys carrying easily that much weight in lumber on ladder racks pretty regularly.

Hobie Adventure Island, a kayak with amas. So basically the same but a little more sophisticated. And no I'm not putting a motor in it!
As long as something more than gravity is holding the rack in the stake pockets, I'm sure its fine. You never know when something might generate lift.
Most racks these days I see come in three ratings; 500, 800, and 1000 lb.
Looks good to me. I'd do it.
