I'm sure you all saw the toddler LED costume. I had to copy and got tons of attention last night.
We had one kid dressed like that. It looked kinda homemade--like just a bunch of those glow sticks attached to an all-black body suit--and I mean that in a cool way. I'm still amazed that we didn't have any Star Wars costumes, and we had a ton of kids pass through.
This was my crew. Blue man is my cousins kid. the other four are mine. 15lbs of candy that needs to disappear.

Works this way, too.
Parked on the driveway drank a cold one and handed out the treats so kids wouldn't ring the doorbell, set off the dog and annoy the wife who has a bad case of bronchitis.
The whole time I was searching for parts on my phone and waiting for the kids to end so I could get back into the shop and finish my rear coilovers.
Some cute kids in the neighborhood (and some even cuter moms). Best outfit was a father/son gladiator team. Young kid asked his Dad to hold his sword so he could pick candy. Fun stuff.
We had a great time. I admit, we did leave our neighborhood but that was so we could take the kids out with their friends. Ended up being three families with five children under the age of four, which was perfect. The neighborhood our friends live at is Decatur city, which I don't know much about. What a cool neighborhood! I can't remember seeing neighbors who knew each other and (gasp) talked to one another! The kids were roaming the streets and behaving nicely. There were a bunch of folks just chilling on the front porch or driveway having a cold one and handing out candy. One house the lady ran out and said "candy for the kids (holds out bowl of candy) and JELLO SHOTS FOR PARENTS!! (holds out tray of shots)." I told my wife we need to move.
Yeah, we sit in the driveway, too. The dogs get dressed up, and with the traffic we see it's just easier to sit outside. Plus the weather was really nice.

Dude, yes - we like it here in Decatur. Michelle and I have been working in and around it for years and finally bought a house on the north side of town. You should come join us for beers and tabletop shuffleboard at Twain's sometime. I contend it is the best bar game EVAR (mostly because I suck at pool).
Back OT - hell yeah last night was fun. Got to do the neighborhood thing early in the evening, then went out to a concert (appropriately) dressed as THA DEBIL.
