So, it ok? I'm so confused! But not surprised.
I have no more questions, on this.

A friend of mine is a independent author and sells on Amazon. The return policy for e-books is the worst. First - how the hell should you even be allowed to return an e-book? That just seems wrong... Anyway, the way she's described it: someone buys the e-book. Amazon gets their cut. She gets the rest. Buyer returns e-book - she has to refund the full amount to the buyer. Amazon still keeps their cut. So when someone returns an e-book, the author is essentially paying for someone to read the book.
That's berked up...
Same thing happens with real returns as well, we don't get the credit card fees back.

....or you get a chargeback, and are out the money and the product. Aftermarket automotive has a much higher rate of fraud then (most) other verticals, and a higher rate of returns than average to boot - based on fairly "inside" knowledge. Its rough out there!
I have switched to duck duck go, oddly just because Google search on my phone would randomly fail (dns issue?). I'm tolerating it for now.
I limited my instagram usage. I really should focus on getting rid of this one.
I just signed my Amazon divorce papers. Feels good.
Google I feel like I will be tied to for all eternity for Gmail and photo backup reasons.
