So, the oven on our stove went on the fritz today. Since it's 20 years old and the handle on the oven has been broken for a while anyways, I figured now might be a good time to just replace the darn thing. I'm probably headed to the ReStore this weekend - Any brands to look for or avoid? Should I just spend the extra money on something brand new?

Check your local dedicated appliance stores (not a place that sells clothes, tools, furniture, etc), for used trade-ins. I got a one year old, $1500 gas stove for $300. Previous owners were redoing their kitchen, going from white appliances to stainless.
