Tetons and Yellowstone of course. If you have time, don't miss the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody - five museums under one roof, 300,000 square feet. They call it the Smithsonian of the West, and they aren't kidding.

I was last here in 1980

Don't miss the antler arches downtown.

All that. If I can get to a computer at home and have some time to type something up, I can give you a LOAD of stuff to do. I lived there for about 3 years not too long ago. Sadly, Billy's Giant Hamburgers is closed. The burrito place(Down on Glenn, or DOG for short) is still open and cures hangovers. Unbelievably good. I'll have to ask around and see which friends still work where, but I could probably get some kind of kickass deal. Definitely do the gondola at the JH Mountain Resort, there's some nice trails and stuff all around the valley. Alpine, ID(south of town a bit) is really pretty, too, so don't miss out on the Snake River and HUGE resevoir. Shoot me an email/message within 24 hours if I don't respond again. I really miss living there and have been thinking about moving back.

What hotel are you staying in?

Everyone needs to go to Cody and get ripped off by a dead carnie and his descendents.

And bring your BIG debit card for JH.

Been in June and it was warm. There is a great rodeo in town and some good sights to see. I was only there for a couple days, but it was fun. Like Dr Hess says, bring your money.

Between the Tetons and Yellowstone... well, it's pretty amazing area to see. I lived in-between the two parks at a resort for a summer (job), and got free reign to both parks. Awesome.

If you want an interesting drive- take Teton Pass into Idaho, drive over toward Lake Palisades, and then back up the Snake River Canyon. It will take a while, but the views are totally worth it. And the road is fun to drive if you don't have too much traffic.

This. I LOVED doing that drive, spectacular views and quite a fun road.

The Lodge is a pretty decent place, last I recall it was a Best Western. I'll see who I still know in that area. SWMBO's aunt and uncle live down the street from Yippie-I-O Candy's owner's sister. Small world.

The only time that I've ever been in Jackson Hole, happened to be in August. I think it was 1987, and I was camping. I forget the name of the camp ground, but it was very close to town, not up in the mountains. We woke up to a temperature of 29*F and frost that didn't melt off 'till after breakfast.

I think I read somewhere that Wyoming doesn't have a single day of the year where it hasn't snowed in recorded history (I'd assume that to be the last 200-300 years) so be prepared for anything.
