Ive also been using the Mach 3 razors for a long time, with shaving gel. It pretty much sucks. (the cost sucks a lot too)

I only shave once a week out of necessity, any more and I end up getting nicks all over the place with the hair being shorter and rougher and all.

I hate electric razors even more. I guess its time to switch things up and try something else.

good thread.

This post recently got me to try a 4-blade razor: http://www.youjustmademylist.com/?p=3098 (Plus it's funny.)

So far I'm happy with my high-tech razor. I'm a week or two into the first one. I had used the Bic Metals for years, but they can be hard to find. Also, I prefer liquid soap. There, my hair tips.

I am sporting a beard now but if/when I go back to shaving, this is the way I am going to do it...

I used to use all those fancy disposables the expensive ones only to have my wife shave her legs and pits with them...so now i just use the 10 for $5 packs. I only have to shave two days of the week on tuesdays and fridays. i only use a razor once anyways before i see it on the edge of the tub...
