The bar has just been raised so far we really demand complete perfection from them.Across the US market (mostly domestics) maybe, but it doesn't take much looking to see the reduced quality in today's Japanese cars compared to those of 15-20 years ago, or the German ones from 30 years ago. Or diesel trucks prior to this latest wave of emissions regulations.
