I had a friend who had posted all over Facebook that "WE ARE GOING TO MIAMI!!!" I really thought he was going there on vacation. And I am still not sure why he considers himself part of Team LeBron.

We don't care so much there's been nine posts in less than 30 minutes about how much we don't care.

Personally, it's not a huge deal to me as I'm not much of a basketball fan. I am a fan of his publicist, however, who managed to get hours of coverage on several networks and turn a usually mundane off-season event into a media frenzy. He probably got a lot more cash for his client as well.

Now sports will be boring again until Brett Favre decides to unretire/retire/unretire/become an astronaut/retire/unretire/go on a low speed Bronco chase/retire/turn gay/unretire/retire.

^He actually took less money to go to Miami then he could have received by staying in Cleveland, or the extra endorsement money he could have landed in NYC.

I haven't been paying much attention, don't pay attention to sports much lately (especially since we cancelled cable) but that's what I've picked up from a few stories and people around the office talking about it.

IMO, it's going to be fun watching James, Bosh, Wade, Chalmers and 8 rotting corpses end up being a mid-level playoff team for a couple years until everyone involved remembers that there's only one ball in play, they need to have 5 players on the floor at any given time, and none of the 3 guys they just signed are going to play 48 minutes a hundred times a year.

Everyone in Cleveland is desperate to get out, this should not have been a big surprise.

(I really don't believe that, but as a Pittsburgher I am bound by law to slam Cleveland whenever possible.)

Seriously, I think that Super Bowl commercial he had this year was a prophecy. He's gonna be playing into his late 70's.

And Le Bra is so good that the Celtics denied his chance AGAIN this season for a ring!
