I'm looking for a new(used) delivery truck for one of our offices. Nothing too fancy, 1-ton chassis, 12'-16' box, with a good lift gate.

I've called the one local truck dealer, but they don't have anything used. I've checked eBay & c-list too, as well as the local auto & RV rags. Anyplace else I should be looking?

FYI - I'll be listing our old truck here soon: late-80's Ford E350 chassis, 16' box, cranks but doesn't fire. It will be cheap.

I would never get an iveco.. I drove one, they are nice trucks that handle well and have good power, but parts are hard to get and you need to remove the seats to get at the engine, the cab is bolted securely to the frame and does not flip forwards.

They also seem to rust

Mitsus are nice, as are hino and UD.. but you cannot beat the isuzus. They are everywhere, cheap, and will run forever with minimal maintance.

They also get the best miliage

Isn't Isuzu about to desert the U.S. market? I'm not "up" on medium duty trucks, but I thought ALL of the Isuzu dealers, not just the SUV dealers, were closing down. If not, Isuzu has been building trucks longer than any other Japanese brand and are only out sold in Japan by Hino. They seem to know what they are doing design-wise.

Isuzu just backed out of the passenger vehicle market, their commercial enterprises are still running strong.
