Then we as a country need to produce a better product. We can't get away with sub-par quality AND higher prices. That's not going to work.

You are the only person I have ever heard say that our products are not as good as those from China. I've found it to be the exact opposite. I'm sure that inferior USA made products exist, but they are certainly more then exception than the rule. Or.....
You could just move to China or Taiwan or Korea, or wherever you think the best products are made so you could save on shipping costs. I'd be okay with that.

No need to be a dick. But then again, that's never seemed to stop you before. I just outlined in this thread yet another example of why people aren't buying USA USA USA. Whether you choose to ignore it or not is not my concern. You want us to pay more to buy into the tinfoil hat argument, it better be a better product.

Good USA made stuff is usually better than badly made Chinese stuff, that much is true.

It's also going to cost much more.

The point is that if the US wants to be relevant again in terms of global manufacturing, they need to be able to offer a superior product at the same price point.

Or hell... baby steps. An equal product for the same price point would do well to start.

But until the, the rest of us are going to buy the best product they can in their price range. If that happens to be a USA made product, i'm tickled pink. Unfortunately, very often that's not the case.

There you go again with the name calling. I rib you a little and end up being called a dick? In my experience, people do that when they have nothing intelligent to say. Call me whatever name makes you feel better, Bob. I really don't care.

There's a difference between being called a dick and being told you're acting like a dick. It would do you well to learn that difference. Telling someone to move to get something you feel is inferior is a dick move.

But I am sure you already know all this and just want to play the "oh woe is me why is everyone so mean?" card. Just like telling me I'm ignorant because "I called you a name."

OK, let's stop this back and forth. It's not adding anything to the conversation. Please. Thank you.

This right here says it all IMO. One thing everyone on this board has to keep in mind is that GRM people are not normal... in fact, most message boards are anything BUT average people. $30 for a pair of jeans is cheap. (don't get your panties in a bunch, that's just the way it is). And then saying you buy jeans at at thrift stores... I honestly do not know a SINGLE person who does that. I mean, I've probably walked by somebody on the street who does, but anyone I am on a first name basis with? No. So, just pointing out that as YMMV, we're also having an abnormal discussion here. :p
My name is Brian. I also wear shirts from the same thrift store. So does my wife. But anyway, I found some real honest USA made jeans that are not $100. So either way.

I change a lot of diapers and wrestle with kids a lot, sometimes in the dirt.

Just got a hole in the knee. We're going to find out tomorrow if I can return them.
