Hi all... I'm new to the group and hope that you can help. I'm a portrait/automobile artist specializing in antique and classic cars. (I've attached a WIP - about 80% complete - of a 1939 Chevy, by way of example.) I'm looking for venues to run ads and am coming up with very few suitable magazines other than this one, AACA, and a couple of other large organizations. Do any of you know of classic car magazines or newsletters that accept advertising and, if so, can you provide the titles? (Or, if you belong to a classic car club that offers advertising opportunities, I'd like to know about those as well.) Many thanks in advance.![](https://pastelportraitsbystephanie.com/80-percent-39-chevy-12x9-watermark.jpg)
Hopefully Duke will be here shortly.

If you go to www.coatesvillegrandprix.com there may be advertising opportunities for you.
In reply to Duke :
I was hoping that members of the forum might belong to local/regional classic car clubs that publish newsletters that accept advertising. I believe I've identified the major mags, but looking for suggestions on those also. Thanks in advance to anyone with suggestions.

The CVGP is about to publish their event program. Advertising info should be available on the site I linked. If not I can find an email address for you to inquire.

Thanks so much for this info, Duke. I see I'm right down to the wire deadline-wise, but I did contact the ad rep, just in case. Cheers!

"British Marque Car Club News" is a monthly tabloid-style newspaper, usually around 44 pages, which is mailed out to members of more than 100 British car clubs around the country. Classified ads are inexpensive. Here's the classified ad form with contact info:

Thanks so much for this, Gary! Much appreciated and the rates really are "cheap as chips" as my Brit friends would say. ![smiley smiley](https://classicmotorsports.com/static/ckeditor/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/regular_smile.png)
Stephanie, I'll add suggesting talking to local sanctioning bodies about them potentially partnering with sponsors to commission works as trophies for the 2022 season and for events instead of the traditional trophy. PHA (Pennsylvania hillclimb association) is an organization that I'd reach out to.
My thought process on this is that the class winner gets the original and the sanctioning body gets the rights to reproduce prints, with permission and sign off from you, the artist, of course. Then the work could be utilized in print form by the sanctioning body sponsor and by the sanctioning body in promotional materials such as shirts for the following year.
In reply to captdownshift (Forum Supporter) :
This is a tremendous suggestion - thank you! I'll definitely follow up on your PHA idea.

Grassroots Motorsports magazine has an excellent sister publication called Classic Motorsports magazine.
