I happened to drive past this yesterday(it was parked). Can't say I hadn't though of doing this myself, and I'm kinda glad to see someone else had the same inspiration, plus the motivation and skills to pull it off.

Personally I've never understood the 'lay frame' style, but to each their own.
I like the thought of a low truck. The grain bed kinda looks like a roll on/off dumpster though.
Pool liner in the bed, then fill with water.
I like it but the reason it's wrong (trying not to be a hater ) is that the bed should be the same height relative to the cab as the original.
It would still be low, he'd still have to cutout for the rear wheels, but it would be proportional then.
Bonus points for cut down ladder touching the ground.

Seems like it will self clearance so no need to do anything once slammed.

Once it airs up it could be just fine. Our buses sit pretty much like that ones all the bags empty.
