Let me know how the show is, please. I'm weighing buying four tickets for the whole family. That would include the 16 and 12 year old kids. I'm hoping that it's a clean show. We're not going to be bothered by a bit of profanity, such as using berkeleying as an adjective, but I wouldn't take the kids to see The Lords of Acid, ya know?
I saw them ~2 or 3 years ago. I wasn't a fan at the time (the opener was Dr. Dog, one of my favorites). Objectively, it was a great show. The Lumineers were fantastic.
There's a recent interview w the band on KEXP (i think) that explains the new album. I usually don't pay much attention to lyrics/themes, but it's worth hearing if you do.

Hah, this is the last place I thought I would see a Lords of Acid reference.

GRM is home to everything. Even freaks like me.

Sorry, I didn't see an email from you and I gave the tickets to an Army buddy of mine.

So, it was a good show there was only one issue. Our seats were to the side of the stage and it was extremely hard to understand any of the lyrics. We had the same issue with the opening act Mt Joy so it may have just been our seats. With that being said I would see them again and it was a clean show. A few if the songs in their new album deal with substance abuse so some of the video in the show has people doing that kind of thing but I would not have any resuvations taking my 12 year old to it.
