In the past six months or so there have been eight or nine soldiers that have been found dead, most having gone missing beforehand. There's rumors of sexual assault and other nastiness going on as well.
Anyone been following this deeper than the surface level stuff I've been seeing on the news?
Usually something like that results in the early retirement of the base commander. Something is wrong in that chain of command.
It's near Waco, whether it be Baylor, Branch Davidians or Fort Hood, there always something terrible going on in that town, where the cover-up is as egregious as the initial crime or act committed.

The base commander was up for a new plum assignment. That just got delayed.

Chip and Joanna don't think it's so bad.

The upper class, who falsely view themselves as middle class, and who love them, are going to be distraught when they find out that is, and has been, an open marriage for more than a decade.

Shut your whore mouth.

Mrs. Snowdoggie was born in Waco. Her dad taught English Lit at Baylor. I just showed her this thread.
She said that David Koresh was a transplant from Plano.

This. Odds are someone is gunning for promotion and stupendously low morale is a side effect. In months before my squadron CO walked into a staff job our DUI and rates skyrocketed. Obviously people made their own choices but when the guy that controls where you work and where you live decides to shiny up his record, people eventually reach a point and act out. It won't ever come out but I would guess that 1) someone will never see command again or B) someone gets that staff position delayed.

Shhhhhh.... Shiplap covers all.
In reply to Snowdoggie :
When the provost covers up numerous sexual assaults by members of the football team less then 15 years after a member of the basketball team murders a teammate, the shoe fits.
