There were four channels with NBA basketball on. I hardly see the 'saturation' of March Madness. Hell, most of you talking about how much you hate it will even know if you get half the channels it will be shown on!
The number of channels it's broadcast on doesn't equate to how much saturation there is. There's only one network broadcasting the Super Bowl, and there's total saturation for that (which I love, BTW). Have you tried watching SportsCenter recently, or listening to sports talk radio? Or even watched commercials on networks that broadcast sports? That's where the saturation is. A one hour show is 40 minutes NCAA, 20 minutes for everything else. They even did a special show where the President filled out his bracket. Really? Ugh... It's cool for those who like college ball, but frustrating if you don't.

UK and Loserville here. Duke and UNC can suck it. That said, I'll watch my one team worth of playing, Michigan State, and seeing if everyone, OSU, IU, UF, etc, else can lose. After that, don't care until the championship game. Slowly this is turning into April Madness instead.....
Yeah, but I'm not sure that UK and Louisville get the same national hate that Duke / UNC get. They are the Yankees/Patriots/Heat of NCAA... and they are in the same state, and the fans are absolutely obnoxious or rabid or both. Sucks for me, because I think the talent is horrid compared to the pros, much much worse than NCAA FB to NFL.
Oh well, May is around the corner!

So this is a basketball-related thing? Who'da thunk...

All I heard about this morning was the new NFL rule, and Brian Urlacher becoming a free agent, on both the radio and tv. All football stuff, and all NFL at that.

No; it's all about insurance:

Today I Learned the difference between a viola and a violin. It's the string tuning.
Size is a bigger factor.
I've never been able to get in to basketball, it looks too much like gym class. But I don't have to watch March Madness, because there's an F1 race on this weekend :)
The break area where I used to work had three TVs. The bosses didn't care if they were tuned to other networks. I used to turn one of them to racing coverage, if a race was on the same time of The Most Important Stickanball Game of The Week(tm).
Someone would wander through and ask, "Who's winning?" I'd say things like "Audi's got 'em covered up front, but Corvette just can't get by the damn Ferraris in GT".
Usually rewarded with the deer in the headlights look. I wonder if they ever figured out I was doing it on purpose.
I don't mind, but I can understand. Look on the bright side, it isn't nearly as long as football season.
I'm too busy keeping up with the MLB pre-season. Boston is doing decent, Mets are ok, and the Yanks are last in the grapefruit league

Yeah, all I heard on sports talk on the way home was about Gonzaga was about to lose and free agents in football.
I live in NC as well (Raleigh). I found out today that my school (at which I played sports) is playing Duke in the tournament. That kind of shows you how much I care about both basketball and my Alma Mater.
I hope they beat Duke so that March Madness becomes March Sadness around here.
