Honestly, that burger looks terrible. Far too much burger and the wrong kind of cheese. Make the patty thin, use American, add some grilled onions (or make an Oklahoma burger).  
 

If you want that much meat, a burger is the wrong way to do it. Make meatloaf, refrigerate it, slice it, fry it, then stick it on there. Alternatively, use pork instead of beef if you're insistent on a burger being that thick. Or a double burger. 
 

Also... Patty melts are superior to most burgers. 

I need that shirt.
