Not bad, although IIRC, Finland had been arguing with himself for a while and Russia decided to try to take his wallet while everyone else was distracted.

I like it. I would also rewrite the Finland part though (might be a bit long):
Russia, by far the largest in the room is a bit sickly after having a serious breakdown in the middle of the last bar room brawl and running out screaming something about its mother and since then has been drinking heavily trying to kill its inner demons. After stomping on poor Poland with the help of the now very fit Germany, decides it wants to show how tough it is and backhands one of the smallest guys in the room Finland. Finland is only 5 foot 2 and might be called a hobbit, but is chock full of attitude and proceeds to go head to head with Russia and bite and scratch it bloody, until Russia realizes how bad an idea that was, and calls it a draw.
At the end, they also need to add:
After the mighty struggle with Germany beaten to a bloody pulp, Russia, who looks like they should be in the same shape based on the amount of their blood on the floor (mostly as the result of leaning into the fight with it's face), covered with bandages and braces that say "USA and ENGLAND" Stands up, and seemingly ignoring the others in the room and declares "See what I did!"

USENET was amusing in the 90s, when we first got to hear the Soviet view from first-hand accounts.
By their view, US and the other allies weren't doing very much to end the war because they weren't dying by the tens of thousands per battle.

I guess to me, the difference is they only changed their name packaging. With changing the name of the Gulf, how much is it going to cost us taxpayers to change every single sign, map etc etc.

Nothing, if we refuse to change what we call it.
We all still call it "Twitter".
Also, the Gulf of Mexico is an international body of water that no nation holds sovereignty over beyond a certain distance from their borders. Just like no one owns any of the oceans. There is no formal process for naming international waters, but the International Hydrographic Organization seeks to standardized names to keep things simple and easy for international dealings and officially recognizes that body of water as the Gulf of Mexico.
