Been a while, combination of I had to re-load the money cannon a bit, and work was super busy through the end of the season. BUT! I had two weeks off, last week was for family, this week was for me. I was able to spend the last 4 days up at the land, and with my friend's help we got the framing done and the loft is about 80% done. Still need to do blocking and then put the subfloor down, but the heavy 2x12 16 footers are up, and I'm eating lunch on the 2nd floor tomorrow :).

Also, sidebar, the Saab 9-7X needed a few things, but after some suspension replacement, an alignment, and fresh fluids, it's earning its keep and then some:

I love this thing, and there is a plan to both enter it in the Challenge, and have it tow a 2nd Challenge car from VA to FL. Maybe it can set its quarter mile time while pulling the trailer.
Loft is framed, starting subfloor soon:

Wiring in is full swing. Holy cow wiring up a big shop hurts when the 10/2 and 12/2 are almost $1/foot and you're doing 100ft runs. Sometimes I think my box is in the wrong place, then I realize a 40' wall and a 60' foot wall would need to be covered regardless. Ah well:

And this was my moment of zen, sometimes the imperfections line up and cancel each other out:
