You cannot make this stuff up.
An unidentified man savagely attacked by another on the pedestrian walkway of the MacArthur Causeway remained in intensive care on Sunday at Ryder Trauma Center in Miami.
The man, whose name has not been released, was said to have suffered severe facial injuries from an attacker who witnesses said chewed at the victim’s face and eyes in the walkway on the west end of the causeway. Both men were naked.
When police arrived, the attacker refused to stop biting the other man and was shot dead by a Miami police officer.
Only in Florida, California, Pennsylvania, or Ohio...
I saw that last night. Man, it was creepy. The cop wound up shooting the guy SIX TIMES. 
Some preliminary reports are calling it cocaine psychosis but from what I understand the autopsy etc has not been completed. I wouldn't rule out PCP.
It's eerily like the man in Canada who beheaded and tried to eat a guy on a bus a few years ago.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Tim_McLean It seems this guy is about to be allowed to go to a nearby town, supervised by a nurse and a cop.

I have lived in NJ and PA... The state of Pennsylvania is a LOT more weirder than NJ. The thing that makes NJ weird are the people who come here to visit..

Grew up in Pa, and lived for a few years in Ca. and currently live in Fl., (only ever visited N.J. and Ohio) and I wouldn't say Pa. is all that weird, at least in comparison to Ca. Pa., to my knowledge, has no place like San Francisco...and neither does Ohio (though parts of Columbus remind me of SFO). Fl.? I'm beginning to think it's something in the water as it isn't so weird here except in Miami.
Of al the states I've lived in so far....Tenn is (wait, WEST Tn. is) the worst place in the U.S. tied with ALL of Mississippi and Arkansas. Folks there are too stupid to be weird.
There's dumb people everywhere, fo' sho. But the real wackjobs seem to come from Florida and California. Must be all that sun baking their zombie brains...

Grew up in PA.
Went to school in FL.
First job in OH.
Current job on CA. Only because my job is awesome though the high desert, not so much.
And all this time I thought it was the capitol of Cuba.
The reason I bring up these three states, The Point's (radio station) morning show (Woody and Rizzuto) reads insane news stories from one of these four states and the listeners guess which state it is. To have enough crazy E36 M3 going on to be in one of those four states every week is pretty impressive. And yes, most stories involve alcohol. I expect this story to be in the next game.

This one sounds more like PCP than alcohol or cocaine. I tangled with a girl on PCP once. Unbelievable strength.

Some of the reports now have an interview with an eye witness that says when the officer told the man to stop and the "zombie" looked up and growled at the cop then went about his meal

Good god thats some messed up stuff. Scary stuff.
They were talkin about it on a local talk show and it semi creeped me out. Then i talked to a close cop friend about it an the stuff he has seen in regards to drug use and crimes is just unreal. Sounds made up its so bizare but its true.
