I like the way the new Cruze looks
Despite my almost obsessive-compulsive behavior towards car maintenance, I haven't touched my lawn mower in 7 years. I bought it as a brand-new, used 1/2 time off of CL (a guy bought it, tried to mow his acreage and decided he was insane and needed a rider) for $40 (still had the new tags all over it from ~72 hours prior!!). Since then I have put whatever gas I had laying around in it (including the 26 year old swill from the Javelin) and sharpened the blade once.
No plug replacement, no oil changes, no nothing. Why am I mean to that poor little thing?

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEUUUUUUUUUUCK
No never, not ever. I push the carwash button on the gas pump after a long road trip and THAT'S...IT.
Other than an inside-out cleaning at a carwash place maybe 2x/yr. When I got my rear bumper fixed (insurance job) and a new windshield installed a few wks ago, the body shop cleaned my interior. Teeheehee.
I NEVER wash my truck. It has only had one bath. That was because an engine I had in the back fell over and dumped its contents all through the bed. Then it rained. The rain and oil mix ended up EVERYWHERE!
I had to clean the truck because of that.
Otherwise, it is a dirty mess. Always.
The RX8 I owned was washed 2 or 3 times a week. It was also waxed often.

I love car projects brakes, oil changes, whatever, but... hate working on my wife's car. I think because it takes away from working on my own stuff.
Here's mine, and GRM related. Whenever I come to the forums I go through the GRM main page. I know I could bookmark and go straight to the main forum page, but I alwasy go through the GRM main page. Why? On the off chance a picture of my car will be on there. Maybe you've seen it, yellow 911 in front of the blue caboose. Everytime I login I look for it...
Not sure if this falls under "minor" confession... you guys just might decide to kick me off the forum.
I haven't changed the oil in the truck, above, in over four years...

Are those Imperial years? IIRC they are significantly shorter in Canada.

Meh, I assume that it hasn't been driven more than 3000 miles in that time either. While I follow the 3000 miles rule fairly closely, I think that it is overkill in most vehicles. Same goes for the 6 months deal; mine usually end up being every 6-9 months and every 2800-4000 miles.
It's only moved a couple of times in the last five years. Brand new ball joints last summer, with about 75 miles on them.
I often use other people to amuse myself. Today at BJ's I was in line to get one thing. A guy in another line with two carts let me go ahead of him since he was waiting for his mother in law. She came back and started to lay into him for letting me go. I told her he heard something fall and looked to make sure she was ok, and when he wasn't looking I I pushed ahead of him. There was nothing he could do about it. She went crazy on me instead. I figure he let me go the least I could do is take some of the abuse off him for a few minutes.

I skim through the forums and facebook so quickly that many times I misread things. For a few seconds I thought I had read "I put on my wedding leathers...." and was thinking what are wedding leathers?

I don't use Google Seach to cheat, just try to do it based on surroundings/landmarks and a sense of direction. "Movie is set in LA. Its evening, and I can see the sun setting, so he's driving southwest along a canal, just passed a bridge with lamp posts on the concrete guardrails, art-deco styling on the abutments... okay, where is that?"
When I went to San Fran for the first time last year, I looked up all the spots in Bullitt that I could go, I rode the bus around all day taking pictures of the spots in the movie.
I drove my truck home from exhaust shop in the rain on drag slicks. I'm still shaking... Rowdy locker, high stall, shift kit, slicks and RAIN do not mix.
I always brag about DDing anything anytime and I've met my match. 10mpg though. Much better than I was expecting.
