Are we talking about someone who habitually gets threads locked and never gets even a slap on the wrist?

I won't speak for Rico, but I am, at least.

You need a button for that? I just do it.
EDIT: Oh, I just saw the thread where I think this is about. Honestly I'm in the position that person should just be banned, or we should just keep downvoting their comments into oblivion for laughs
I guess it's anther confession related to the last one. I don't have any issue with that particular person everyone else dislikes, but I also stay out of those threads (unless I'm bored and stirring the pot) because they always turn into the same slog.
There's a certain preachy luddite that just rubs me the wrong way. Like my brain locks up when I read some of his posts, because they're always the same emotion driven, leaving points behind was a horrible idea, no car needs more than 6v style of stone age thinking. That's who this confession was about.
Not like I'm a bastion of logic and helpful posts, but I try to relegate my E36 M3posting to threads already on their way out.
In reply to RevRico :
Which is funny, because I just easily skip over the excitable one's posts like it's no business, yet the other one in question in question irks me to no end.
One is oblivious.
One is vindictive.
In reply to RevRico :
Let me tell you about my 100% analog electric fuel injection idea, where the injectors are controlled by points on a distributor and the dwell is altered via a linkage connected to throttle position...
I can't even begin to imagine how much "fun" that would be to keep in tune. Or even set up to begin with.
In reply to Pete. (l33t FS) :
Sounds remarkably like D-Jet. Or drop the electric altogether and SPICA ! Carburettors are only slightly worse.

That wouldn't be me you're talking about, would it?

I thought you knew the truth? No one knows what you know. But you sure won't tell us what that is.
I think I got a little over zealous bedding the new pads and rotors on the Grand Caravan. I got the rotors a nice shade of blue, but the calipers have soot on them.

I think I tend toward the Jay end of spectrum of telling the truth.
The one who speaks... and he will, at great lengths, whether you want him to or not... will make mention of himself as a prophet.
...and now I am going to rewatch Dogma, but imagine that they had cast Eric Idle for Metatron instead of Alan Rickman.
In reply to Duke :
Absolutely not. Hell if you ever vacationed this way, I would expect you to stop for a drink and a meal.
Every week, I get an email announcing a Flash Sale for $100 off a set of tires from Discount Tire.
I used to delete these immediately... until I realized that at any given moment, my daughter is just one granite curb away from needing three new tires.

This whole line is why i just dont.....this place as much anymore. I'll swing by and E36 M3post from time to time, but berkeley man the noise feels like it's getting to vortex levels and my house is REALLY quiet now and I like that.
I should note- its the "We need an ignore sentiment" and not a "These guys in this nest suck noodles" sentiment. Rico in particular I speak to almost daily.
Sometimes I can't help yelling into the void of the "why did you unsubscribe from these marketing emails" box about the insanity of getting daily emails from every business I've had a single interaction with. I suggested today that the person in charge of that decision be slapped with a dead mackerel.
There's something so messed up about the failure to arrive at a better conclusion. I get that "daily emails give the best metrics" or what-have-you, but seriously, if I just let everybody I had an interaction with keep sending me daily emails, I would literally just be deleting emails all day. It doesn't scale. It can't work for everyone.

When I bought my latest set of tires, I purchased the road hazard protection for the first time ever. With a 16 year old driver, I figured it was good insurance that I'll hopefully never need.
I just realized my leader board standings are probably really sad now that I've been barely active for a couple years now.
I just bought a drum I don't need. The price was too good. I've never played a hickory snare, but the reviews are all glowing. The thicker shell (11mm) and ten lugs should reduce the overtones I don't like in my maple drum, which I should be able to sell to mostly cover the cost. Hopefully big upgrade! Hopefully wife doesn't murder me.

I just now remembered there was one. I'm sure I've fallen waaaay down.
