That stuff is greasy and smells funky but I love it and use it daily.  On dry elbows the stuff works great.

Contracted through a freight company to rent a portion of a semi trailer to move our household to New Mexico (U-Pack aka ABF Freight).

It was supposed to be delivered "today". That's the best estimate I could get from the dispatcher.

Well at 3pm after waiting since 7am, I called them. Oh yeah, we are just waiting on a driver and the trailer will be delivered between 4pm and 7pm.

Well guess what? It now after 7pm AND NO BERKING TRAILER.

Thanks for making me wait all berkeleying day. I have a E36 M3 load of stuff to do but yet I had to be here to accept the drop off. This is some Comcast level service berkeleyery. Thanks shiny happy people. 

Back in the day (1970) we moved back to Chicago from St. Louis and the moving truck was a few days late and nobody had a clue where they were.

Another rant wrapped up in a big win. After a year of turmoil, I landed a new job with an awesome company with a rock solid reputation, great team, in a flexible work environment. I feel like this is a place I can stay and grow  

My rant is I am really struggling. With what I don't know. New job blues? I'm not sure, but I feel like crap and feel down. Maybe the weather isn't helping. I have felt like this before and was able to bounce back. I just need to slug through a few weeks and get in a routine. 

The truck driver just called to report that he is still 35 miles away.

Per the contract, I have 3 days to pack the trailer before they come pick it up. That happens on the 25th. If the trailer gets delivered at 2230 on the 22nd, that's not really 3 days, is it.

I'm calling tomorrow to bitch and see if I can get an additional day since I'm owed another full day. 

Also, my coworker told me he was very interested in buying the Tahoe on Friday. It's been radio silence from him until today when he finally responded to my texts. I sent him probably 20 pictures and described the condition in detail. He was all for it.

But he told me this afternoon that his wife shot down the purchase. Welp, that kinda berks everything up. Now I really gotta scramble to get it sold before Friday. I'm already planning on putting a hitch on it and towing the Maverick on a trailer in case I can't sell the Tahoe by then.

Holy berkeley is this move stressful.

Adguard has been randomly crashing for days now, with no update in sight.

Road rage incident this morning. Other guy pulled a gun on me.

Driving into work on 275, headed towards the bridge and Tampa. I'm doing misdemeanor levels of speed in the far left as I pass a couple cars in the middle. Guy gets ALL up on me. Couple feet off of me, maybe. I gear down from 6th to 5th. No result. 5th to 4th. Nothing. 4th to 3rd and he backs off and gets in the middle lane to go around me. I accelerate to get back to misdemeanor levels and he flies past me cutting me off.

Starts brake checking me. I'm only in 4th at this point so I just let that take me down. He eventually stops brake checking me and hangs a pistol out of his window. Being a good FloridaMan I make sure mine is in reach and loaded, then I call FHP and report everything.
Saw a bunch of troopers on the road later on down.

Still not sure which of us was the shiny happy person.

I just complete my pass, move to the right, and let them by. 

SC state law is slow traffic stays right. If I'm running 15 over and someone wants by, I'm the slow traffic. It's my responsibility to move over, not discipline them for tailgating.

Yeah, just pull out of the way and let them pass,  Not worth getting shot at / shooting someone. I'm glad you're OK.   If someone wants to break the sound barrier, let them by and beat the bushes ahead for you and everyone else.

Yep. I maintain my speed, complete my pass, and get over as soon as I am able. If he had space to pass you on the left, you had space to move left and let him by.

If you didn't slow down, you could have completed your pass.

If he could get in the middle to go around, how was there no room for you to move over?

You slow down in the fast lane, then speed up again so he can't pass you.

I would've given a firm brake check to back him off a little, then immediately sped up and put my right blinker on to move over as soon as feasible.

Not that the display of penis size... I mean firepower was called for, but you kind of went out of your way to piss them off.

He had space to pass because I slowed down due to him being a foot or two off my bumper at 80MPH.
