Roasted Garlic Triscuits FTW.
Rosemary Balsamic are my faves. In defense of the Wheat Thin crowd, I go to a specific store that carries tomato basil wheat thins. They are excellent.
Now, be warned, I'm in Canada where we sometimes have food with spicing in it, so it might be a bit tough on guys from the Bland States of America. How you guys can rag on British food is beyond me.

Ratchet strap a board to a rake upside down?
I would but I don't have a rake 😅
I ended up running to Horror Fright, which is about a block away, to grab a scoop shovel.

It was the last one in stock. None of the hardware or home improvement stores had any snow shovels in stock.

Wait, whut?
Where the hell have you been eating in America that was a bland as British food?
And you're going to say Canadians, who don't get excited about anything at all, make spicier food than Americans?
In reply to Duke :
Canada could have had it all: American industry, British Culture, and French Cuisine.
Instead, they got: French Industry, American culture, and British cuisine
We got new Cintas pants at work. They're elastic waisted.
Which would be great, if they weren't sized by the minimum size. Which they are.
I'm basically walking in such a way that keeps my pants from sliding off my body.
Time to see where I stuck my mechanic's belt (it has no exposed metal that can inadvertently scratch paint)
In reply to Wally (Forum Supporter) :
No they have British industry with French industrial standards. LOLz
In reply to stanger_mussle (Supported by GRM undergarments) :
That is one of the best snow shovels IMO. There's an unbreakable one that I like too because well..it's unbreakable lol
The big push shovels are great too

Any place I've been other than the south west, where Mexicans do most of the cooking.
White gravy. No.
I was in a Greek restaurant in Wisconsin (I know, an extreme) that apparently had never heard of lemon juice or oregano.

EWR TSA. That's my whole rant.
EDIT: No, there's more. $15 for a 16oz (non-craft) beer to try and dilute my rage? berkeley you OTG, that's twice what it costs on the freaking plane.

I mean....white gravy really isn't a staple of our food here.
I like poutine and all but just from the BBQ side of things American food isnt bland
In reply to Streetwiseguy :
Are you talking about sausage gravy? If so id have to vehemently disagree

Ahh yes a country of 335 million people are defined by the cooking chops of a "Greek" restaurant in Wisconsin. Makes total sense. No chance that was just a bad restaurant.
I'm in central Ohio and within blocks of me are dozens of restaurants that would absolutely wreck you with spice levels. If you want and request it, naturally.

It's kinda like Superman recently, grim and dark. Amazons Secret Level? All grim and dark. The Penguin? Grim and dark.
I don't mind it sometimes as a profound story is cool, but I feel like something new should be light hearted at least a little. I almost watched Skeleton Crew because it seemed like it would be less dark, but ended up watching gun and guitar stuff on YouTube
Skeleton Crew has its dark moments, but I mostly liken it to 80s kid adventure movies, like Goonies. No matter what situation they are in, you know they aren't going to die. I've been enjoying it as kind of a throwback to that era.

It didn't work too bad considering. Yeah, the straps prevented it from scraping all the snow off the concrete but it got like 96% of it. It's a wet, heavy snow so it got too heavy to push. I had to clear a small section at a time. But then disaster struck literally a minute after I took the picture:

The end snapped off because it's hollow and made out of cast metal. This broom was $40 at Lowe's 🤬
$5 on Amazon will solve your problem. https://www.amazon.com/Carlisle-4528000-Flo-Pac-Galvanized-Handle/dp/B008QYLIMG

WTF is "white gravy"? Sounds pornographic.
Hi Mr. C, this is Memorial Gardens, we just thought we'd make a call to update your account (we have burial plots).
OK
I see your wife is not listed on your account, would you like to add her?
OK
We charge $300 for that.
No you don't.
WTF? Do people just pay that?

Down here it's a gravy made with spicy breakfast sausage. Usually served over biscuits. Also very good on eggs or hashbrowns. It is very tasty. Also very bad for you.

I hate you Toyman. Now I'm going to be dreaming of spicy deer sausage gravy over biscuits for weeks until I can beg my brother for more deer sausage.

Physically, yes. But it's certainly helps the mental side.

Damn it now I'm going to be thinking about them as bukake biscuits for the rest of the weekend. I wish I hadn't opened this thread today to rant about moving something wrong and berkeleying up my back. Because instead it berkeleyed up biscuits and gravy for me

I do love me some biscuits and gravy.
But what you're seeing on the biscuit there is sausage gravy. White gravy is just a roux to which you add some milk. Sausage gravy adds - big surprise - sausage to the white gravy. My wife insists on using bacon grease as the fat for the roux when she makes sausage gravy. The resulting dish is absolutely delicious, but it takes on a somewhat off-putting brown color. I think if she properly strained the fat before using it, the color would be a little more neutral, but I just shut up and fill my face.
