You say that like there's something wrong with that?

It's really odd. I was making a left turn into a school parking lot that crosses two lanes of oncoming traffic. Waiting for a gap big enough to safely drive through took about 45 seconds, and this lady could not handle it. We wound up in the same parking lot, at the same time, and she still had to wait 5 minutes for her kid to be finished with track practice.
As you can see, I totally bodged up her entire schedule and clearly need to learn how to drive... /sarc off/

When it affects my safety, there is plenty wrong with it.

Send cut send or similar is the answer here, if your CAD is accurate.
That's what I was thinking too. I will need to either suck it up and pay for a full subscription for Fusion or download and learn another free CAD program (though I have access to a full CAD program on my work computer I can't legally or ethically use it for a personal project). There is a full CAD model someone made of the frame but they've only shared it as a 3D PDF file which I can't really use beyond a visual reference (I have asked him if I could get the full CAD file but haven't heard back yet).
I need to figure out just how much more than getting the metal myself getting the parts made by Sendcutsend would be...
What CAD do you use on your work computer?
I gave up fried chicken for lent.
I have been listing after Publix chicken tenders for the last 40 days.
I planned my sales route today specifically to take me by a Publix at lunch time. I now have three Rush jobs in three different directions and won't even get a lunch let alone near a Publix. I'm slightly irritated and majorly disappointed.
Been wanting to try a gravel/cx bike but not spend new bike prices. Found one on FB advertised as the size I wanted that seemed like a decent deal. Got there and it felt a bit larger than expected but rode well and I thought I could make it work. Riding it more when I got home and actually measured it, it is way larger than I need. Now have to decide if I just want to resell it as is or find a different frameset to swap the parts onto. Not a great way to save money like I was hoping.
In reply to TravisTheHuman :
Catia/3DX primarily. Honestly though, I'm probably better at Fusion when it comes to actual modeling since I'm a structural analyst and not a designer so I mostly use the programs at work to find measurements on parts and not to design things from scratch while I've done a modest bit of from-scratch modeling with Fusion over the last few years for my 3D printer.
stuart in mn said:YouTube apparently changed things up today: when I open it up to my main browser page, it used to display small icons in five columns wide and three rows across, but suddenly today it's displaying much larger icons in three columns and two rows, so instead of seeing 15 potential videos at a time I only see 6. I have to scroll down more than twice as much to look for videos I want to watch. I tried signing out, removing cookies and signing back in but that didn't help. I then spent a bunch of time looking through my settings without finding any way to change, then I then I tried asking how to change it back with their useless help screen with no success there either. I assume this is an 'upgrade to improve my user experience'.
So I have 2 channels (main one I have had for ages and one for posting gaming content) and my gaming (newer) account did that. Older account does not.
I may be alone on this one, but as a Basketball fan, I hate it in the playoffs when they give out t-shirts and 98 percent of the stands are color-co-ordinated. Watching Memphis and OKC tonight, and it looks like a sea of smurfs. If I spend a sh-t-ton of money to see a game, I'm going to wear whatever I chose.

I was watching the NHL playoff game last night in Winnipeg, and they had a 'whiteout' going. Only difference was everyone wore away jerseys or white shirts of their choosing. Much more impressive than handing everyone the same shirt at the door, and quite frankly, the way it should be.

100%. On a slight tangent. I was at a basketball game when the PA system broke just as the singer launched into the national anthem. After an awkward second or two, the crowd started picking up the tune. It was spine-tingling. No recording artist can sound as stirring as 20,000 people can.
WTF is wrong with the Cub cadet? Smokes a bit of black smoke every start up. Idles perfectly fine. Idles with the blades on perfectly fine. Drives with the blades off perfectly fine. Turn the blades on, not even over grass, and drive, it dies in like 10 feet. At this rate I'll need to start over again before I'm done mowing.
1. Fuel filler hoses that have multiple trap doors so you can't siphon a fuel tank empty before removing it.
2. Fuel line fitting clips that disintegrate upon removal so they can't be re-used.
3. Modern fuel cans designed by enviro-nazis that wouldn't know which end the liquid comes out of, and can't be used without getting more fuel into the environment than into the tank.
I'm sure I'll think of a few more before I finish this job...
In reply to No Time :
No, it just putters out. Too old for safety features thankfully.
I don't know why I think this, but I think it's related to the hydrostatic drive. There's a lot of dead space on the lever, it doesn't go as fast as it should. Maybe something is bindng up or the fluid needs changed, so it's stressing things out with the PTO and hydro going together.
I rebuilt the carb in 23, it sat all last year, probably needs another rebuild, but making adjustments doesn't bring it back. Shutting off blades or drive, or choking it, will bring it back though.
Having to specify "rally style antilag" when talking about antilag because the only info I can find anymore is about people trying to spool up their turbos for 80-140 rolls on the highway
Sat and waited at the shop all day for the left caliper. Everything is ready to go to get it installed.... But FedEx didn't even bother swinging by. I would have actually been less frustrated if they would have never sent it out for delivery or if at around noon they would have just said that they weren't going to make it today. But no, I just wasted time waiting on their sorry ass.
I was going to whine about the absurdity, with modern low profile tires of having a warning printed, warning you to not exceed 50 psi while beading the tire.
Hah.
The warning was not printed on the 50 series Goodyear Electricdrive tires I mounted today, so, I will instead bitch about the 90 psi required, even with rim and tire greased up with high quality tire lube. The last one, I put up to 94 psi, went for a leak, and it beaded while I was occupied. Who the hell thinks it's a good idea to make a tire/wheel combination that needs that?
In reply to Streetwiseguy :
Maybe it's so the tires stay on the rim when the wheels inevitably turn into new and exciting geometrical shapes because there's no sidewall height.
Rally tires are the best. I bought some ice tires on Dmack casings. At 150psi they still weren't seating. I dismounted them and beveled the beads a bit with a brown Roloc. Then they seated but it took 140psi to get them up and over.
One local had a set of tires, might even have been Dmacks, that refused to seat. So he competed on them. When reseating beads after a debead, sometimes they'd not go on because there's only so much pressure you can get from a handheld air tank, but they'd pop back on when limping back to grid where more air could be had. So, I think he had been banking on that possibility. He ran the whole event and they all stayed half-mounted like that! For the next event he had a different set of new tires
I also recall an event, possibly 2006 or so, when a local debeaded in his GTI. Some non locals were there and one guy, wide eyed, asked "You mean you can debead rally tires???". Yep, and we usually kept an air tank and jack in the trunk of a car so we could just fix them right there in the field. Saves risk of damaging a tire from driving it to paddock while off the rim.
