you ever hear one of these go NON STOP for an hour and ten minutes?
Thanks to tuesday, and again today, I now have.
Shop foreman flipped out on the idiot detailers (the ones that are always blocking my bay) today too. Service Manager says that he's trying to move them, but there isn't anywhere to put them.
I honestly fail to see why this is our problem. They are detailing cars for sales, let sales figure out where the hell to put them. They are costing me money, stressing me out, and driving me berkeleying crazy with the goddamn vacuum.
Old guy three bays down is 99% deaf and told me yesterday the vacuum is driving him crazy.
If they aren't doing anything for the service department, then why the berkeley are they in the service department, stressing out employees who actually work for the service department?

How in the double holy hell do you pave a road and it ends up bumpier than it was before you started? Dumb friggin' DOT morons. And why is it nearly impossible to lay concrete so it doesn't vibrate the fillings out of my teeth? Are the shock and strut manufacturers paying off the state?
it must be summer... the idiots are setting off M80s.. I keep waiting for sirens
edit
The Sirens came 10 minutes later in the form of two police cars and an ambulance. Hope nobody lost fingers

So you whine all day about how you can never afford fuel for your 6-cylinder Jimmy, yet when someone leaves you with a 2500hd Silverado with a 6 litre diesel in it for a week, you drive it like it were a sports car, and take it EVERYWHERE.
And you wonder why I don't listen to your fuel economy woes in the first place.

It is June 1st and today the high was right around 54F. It's been raining for the last week at least a little bit each day.
(On second thought, I am not really ranting about it being in the mid fifties. That is an awesome temperature. Just need a sunny top down day or two mixed in.)
WTF Costco? I checked tire prices on your site last week and the ones I wanted were $90 or so a piece. Went to order them today and then went up to $105. That's in 195/50, the 195/55s that I really want are $135 each! The same tires (in 55) are $89 at America's Tire and $78 on TR!
I was gonna get them from Costco because I like them but that's ridiculous.
Dear self,
Ok, great, you don't usually get sunburn. But, seriously, would a little sunscreen kill you?
Sincerely,
All of your body parts that currently feel like they might be on fire.
PS: That fire thing? That's what you get, idiot. Enjoy!
Turn the damn Roku & TV off before you leave the house. I know the TV is supposed to be "energy efficient", but it still costs money. If leaving the damn thing on for the noise is supposed to be a theft deterrent, it's cool--but tell me your plan BEFORE you do it.
more bullE36 M3 I didn't need to deal with in my life: while I was parked at the bank, waiting for my wife to get back out, somebody backed into my car and completely fugged the right front door. Thankfully, she has insurance, and so far the insurance company has been very nice to deal with, but 1) how did she do that? there was like 20 ft of space without my car in it 2)now I have to take time away from work, lose what little money I could've made during that time, to take care of this E36 M3, and my car looks like E36 M3 now. I don't like for my car to look like E36 M3, I take pride in my car looking pretty good.=/
I wish she would have just berkeleyed it up enough to total it, so I could at least get it paid off and get something super cheap so I can live frugal again, but I doubt a passenger side front door on a kia is gonna total a car still worth $9k.

Can someone explain to me the love of loud music in bars/dance clubs? I went to a concert in St. Louis on Saturday night. Reckless Kelly. Great concert, I was right up at the stage. It was loud. But it didn't hurt my ears. We went out with friends to some bars afterwards, and the music at the places was painfully loud. It literally hurt to be in there. I do not get it. I couldn't even order a drink it was so loud, let alone have a conversation with someone.

This same thing for me last month. On a Friday at 6am, and they didn't give it to me until Monday, which was something I had hoped to do over the weekend. berkeley you UPS.
Lousy work went and scheduled a mandatory Saturday on the exact day that Ford is holding an event for Ecoboost cars at FedEx Field.
Ah well, instead of spending money, I will be making a little. Maybe I can flog a Fiesta ST once the local dealers get some.
In reply to Racer1ab:
Look at the bright side, you now have a 99.7% less of a chance of dying in a fireball on that Saturday!
I've got a greater chance of getting killed by an "unintended acceleration" Toyota than roasting in an Ecoboost car.
In reply to Racer1ab:
Not for long, have you seen how many have been recalled in the last month?
Yep, and I'd still rock one.
People pay big money for Italian exotics that do the same thing!

Just FYI - Photobucket doesn't hotlink for like 90% of the internet anymore.

OK. Imagine the valve cover being removed from a 2.3L Lima as you suddenly see the oil... is green.

I owned a Turbo Coupe with a built 2.3 running an SC50 at 25+ psi, I saw that a lot.

Thanks to the people that automatically vote NO on anything tax related, I got my first bill for trash pickup service (which used to be included through my property taxes). And guess what? It costs more now than it would have if the levy passed. (Just because you vote no doesn't mean the cost won't go up)
