I have wanted to try one of those for a long time; I'd ride it! But I wouldn't be an idiot and make it try to do something it wasn't designed for. At 13k, I won't be trying it anytime soon! But, still, wouldn't mind building one----do you have to have 4 wheels at The Challenge?

I'm sure plenty of liquid painkiller was consumed prior to the run.

fixed that for ya...hammered up is the only way youd get me on that V8 monstrosity.
The one in the OP, Id giver her a whirl.
those unimotorcycleist things actually look halfway entertaining to ride/drive. run an engine with a CVT hanging off the side (big bore sport quad, Honda DN-09 or whatever that weird CVT sci-fi cruiser thing was, etc) behind the wheel rather than in front so it wouldn't try to hamster-wheel every time you breathed on the brake lever, maybe work out some way to steer and power that wheel, put the skids on a tilt that let you lean the whole contraption over in the turns (like that weird leaning tadpole trike, but backwards), put smaller wheels on the skids, a seat on it, and go have fun! bonus, if you have reverse inside the gearbox, that might actually make parking it halfway easy
Nowhere to put your feet, and it's darn slow. This one seems like nothing but a toy for rich folk, which strangely enough is exactly what the video showed it to be.
I did like him running it into a bush at the end. And it tipped over onto its nose nicely when he stopped hard near the end of the video.
