I'm here on business this week. Evenings are open. What's there to do?
EDIT: I'm across the street from WVU Mountaineer Station. I should have access to a car.

Cow-tipping is pretty popular in Fairmont just a half-hour south of Morgantown. Not kidding.
If you want some of the absolute best Italian food you've ever experienced, drive down to Bridgeport and eat at Oliverio's. Insanely good Italian food.
I have a friend who lives up there. Tragically little to do up there. IIRC there is a winery over by cheat lake, but I have no idea if they do tastings yet.
And just in case there are actually folks in this world that don't know what the PRT is:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morgantown_Personal_Rapid_Transit
From the wiki:
"The Morgantown Personal Rapid Transit (WVU PRT) system is a one-of-a-kind people mover system in Morgantown, West Virginia, United States. The system connects the three Morgantown campuses of West Virginia University (WVU), as well as the downtown area.
Originally developed as the Alden staRRcar, the Morgantown system was built, starting in 1970, by a consortium led by Boeing Vertol as a government-funded experiment in personal rapid transit (PRT) systems. The system entered operation in 1975 and, except for a short closure for a major expansion, has operated continually with 98.5% reliability for over thirty years.[3]"
98.5% reliability? Seems like I got stuck between Engineering and Downtown more than 1.5% of the time.
Mountain biking, hiking, kayaking... hunting, fishing... motorcycling, driving too fast on twisty roads with very little traffic?
Check out the Brew Pub.
Go to the arboretum (sp) and go for a walk.
Drive to coopers rock and check out the view / hike around a bit.
Get a fish sandwich and a beer at Marios fishbowl.
Check out the outdoor shop on High Street (Pathfinder - I used to work there).
Check out a Movie at the old movie theatre downtown (If it still exists).
Play some pool at the Met theater (on high street - you ned to find the little sign on teh right side of the street and go down some steep steps. A big time dive, but all the tables are antique.)
Good Luck!

Aahhh, good ole Morganhole. I grew up about two hours south of there, but can't tell you anything to do there other than maybe go to Pittsburgh for the day. Hiking, mountain biking, exploring some back roads all sound fun, but it seems to be the wrong time of year for that.

I bet footnote#3 for the post above yours indicates reliability is measured by whether you eventually reached your destination, not how long it took.
Ok, not sure what it is with this town, but...
I was at the bar across from my hotel and the late 40's guy (somewhat inebriated), late 50's guy, and early 50's woman around me start talking colonoscopies. And get into details. Even the cute bartender gave me the get her the hell out of here look. CHECK PLEASE!!!! I'm safely back in my hotel room, but no more booze. I feel sorry for the bartender.
There's this shop that's local:
