"I literally had to go to the post office!"
That's interesting.
"No, I had to go there, like actually"

Post 9/11 Thanks to some criminal mastermind setting his pants on fire on a plane we are back on a heightened state of alert. They play a poorly worded and read statement from DHS over our radio reminding us that we are the "Eyes and Ears" (another term i never need to hear again) of New York. and to be "extra vigilant" .
Carbon footprint.
You know what?
I'm really tired of people prefacing everything they say with, 'you know what?'

all these dramatic words are stupid. "extra vigilant"? Can't the just say "keep an eye out"? The one that has bugged me this last decade is "lest we forget". None on of the people who have this bumper sticker would ever say "lest". I know. I actually say "lest" and people look at me like in weird. The sentiment is fine, but I woulduch rather a bumper sticker that says "let's not forgot what those bastards did" or something to that effect.
