Holy E36 M3! How did I miss this thread?!?! Best wishes, pulling for ya as hard as I am able!
Nurse was being a total bitch to us today, so despite my willingness to advise her where her attitude can fit and where to place it, I bit my tongue.
End result is that we are away from the hospital leaving Gina without a family member by her side for the 1st time in her past 3 surgeries.
She was just being difficult to show us who was the boss of the situation.
Karma is a biatch also.
On the important front, Gina is still showing slow improvement, we are hoping she will be in a regular hospital bed tomorrow and not in ICU.
She did get to eat real food for the 1st time since Tuesday.
Glad to hear she is still improving. I know she will be glad to get out of ICU, so I hope that happens soon!
I'm arriving late, but my thoughts go out to ya. I'm relieved to hear that is sounds like she's making a speedy recovery (bump in the road and all).
How goes it, brother?
I hate crawling across these threads days after, but due to a a packed schedule, it happens.
Hope it's all uphill from here. Stay positive.
It's a slow road, she is still in ICU, hoping to get out tomorrow and into a general hospital bed, but every other night she has problems with that damned fluid in her lungs.
Keep your head up, and keep a smile on that face and it will help her keep one on hers.
Good luck with everything! We are all pulling for you.
Keep us posted - I hate that helpless feeling that only a hospital can bring on. I'd rather be stuck in a massive car wreck pulling my wife from the wreckage to save her than watch a surgery.
She is somewhat improved today, some of her old spark is showing. Tired due to mixed up sleeping patterns and anxiety, but she did walk the halls of the hospital.
1st lap around the track, that much closer to getting home. Gotta break in the the rebuilt unit carefully right? Looking forward to the day I can buy you two a round of drinks.

start a political discussion and see how she reacts ... that should give you a pretty good idea of how she's doing
