Surprisingly, I actually did get a response from the Assistant Circulation Manager for AutoWeek, and she said, "It is always helpful to receive feedback—positive or negative—so that we can better our product. I will make sure I forward this on to our Editorial Department."

It probably won't make a difference in the magazine's direction, but I have to say that I was really impressed.

Satch edits the BMWCCA magazine, Roundel. I get copies second-hand from a member. He's still stirring up trouble.

AW has become a colossal disappointment. Besides my old truck magazines, the only automotive journal that enters my home now is GRM. I let the CM subscription die as I have to admit it became a little too uppity for me and some of the articles just didn't have the 'meaty' feel I like. It's not a bad publication, just doesn't fit my needs, and since I haven't replaced it with Hemmings Sports & Exotics or anything I guess I really don't desire any of them.

I quit AW when Competition Press went away. Along with dinosaurs.

I bought a Top Gear the other day, but after reading about the 1962 Ford Mustang convertable, and the new F-100 pick-up, I decided I didn't need a subscription. Neet calendar though, but I already had a better GRM one.

I returned to AW after a year off to save expenses (kept GRM tho). I came back as they made the switch to bi-weekly. WTF, I thought. So much for relevant racing coverage. And yeah, what's up with al the cigar/watch flying toilet lifestyle things--That's the place for Autombile mag. Which I used to get cause I actually David E. and Jean Jennings (Lindamood). So now I only get GRM and RT (love Egan and the artwork/photography). CD being owned by Hachette/Filipacci as is RT is basically the same without Egan's writings.

I will not miss AW as it's now called. Can't really present it as AutoWEEK now can they?

Shame. I'll miss Thompson and McCluggage.

I bought the newsprint version solely for the racing content. At the time it was the only source for comprehensive event coverage. Contributions from the likes of Pete Lyons had a huge influence on my passion for motorsports.

There is no way the current caricature of a once-worthy magazine will have my name on a subscription.
