Well I figured with all the questions on guns here lately and concealed carry I thought I would post up my EDC (every day carry) load out to show you guys.
- SIG Pro 2022 9mm with extra mag (IWB hybrid holster)
- SIG P230 .380 with extra mag (pocket holster)
- SOG Flash II
- Victorinox Swisstool
- Casio G Shock watch
- Paracord bracelet (~10 feet of paracord)
- Nebo flashlight
- Motorola Droid 2
- Maxpedition RAT wallet containing first aid kit, duct tape (10 yards wrapped around a card), bic lighter, small compass, some spare cash and a razor blade. It also can hold the Droid.
This is far too sensible for Ted Nugent I think he's a FPS character. Is there a mysterious note in your phone that says "Find Strelok?"
In reply to GameboyRMH:
Actually I have Strelok Ballistic Calculator loaded on that phone.
You actually carry two guns with you at all times?

That's actually one and a half guns. I kid, my EDC is a .380 (LCP). I just need a noisemaker now that I'm out of midtown ATL.
I would comment about the fanny pack...but this is a guy who carries 2 guns, a knife, first aid and 10 feet of cord every day. I will keep my comments to myself.
The top one is my new-to-me EDC. The middle is the SDC, and the bottom one is my ODC. Taurus 24/7PRO in .45ACP, Springfield loaded and Rossi M88 in .38spl.
Sadly they were all lost in a tragic boating accident on Lake Michigan shortly after purchase. In fact, I have no idea how they came to be together in that pic.

Yes I do. Normally always have a rifle in the truck as well.
John you forgot the multitool. Oh and honestly it isn't really a fanny pack more of a pouch that can attach to my belt.
Bobzilla
damn those boating accidents more guns are lost that way. I myself have lost dozens in that fashion.
Ignore the purple stripe that I tried to hide.
Why do you carry two guns?

I like the P230.
Me too, his is a twin of mine.... I had a narrow serration P230(.380acp marking) and now have the wide serration P230(9mm kurz marking), but my EDC is currently the Taurus ultralite in .38spl, and thats just to give me enough time to get to the car where the .45LC Lever action rifle is.....
I was always taught by my grandfather, "A handgun should only be used as a delayment to get to heavier firepower"
In reply to N Sperlo:
This, and pending where it is carried, a BUG is quicker than a reload(you're prolly berkeleyed if that happens anyways though)
The only reason I don't own guns is because I'm a klutz.
Pretty rough up there in NE Oregon, huh?

Actually it is so I am use to carrying it when I go to Portland
In all seriousness it is like N Sperlo said it is back up. Around these parts calling a cop normally takes them at least half an hour to get just about anywhere. We have a crap ton of meth heads and other druggies. My area is becoming a favorite for Mexican drug cartels to grow pot and I spend quite a bit of time in the mountains.

Ever bought anything off Craigslist before?
While I'm a big fan of concealed carry and civilians armed to the teeth in general. The way I see it, if a single digit number of shots fired doesn't fix it, you probably don't need more gun, you need more people with guns.

Duty weapon. I have no option. I'll post my off duty carry when I get home.
In reply to Kenny_McCormic:
Honestly around these parts having a good number of people armed at any given moment is not a problem. Funny thing is after I got my CC permit everyone in my family started to get theirs.

I live in Canada and I should warn you I have a stick with a nail in the end of it!
Honestly, I don't pretend to understand this part of your culture, but it sure does scare the hell out of me.

When I'm working the store, I prefer to have armed customers. The more criminals know we're armed along with most the customers, the less problems we are likely to have.
