Son and daughter (currently 6&5) got this rv Lego kit recently.
Had it less than a day before they replaced the running gear with something they liked better.
It's interesting because when I think back to my Lego career, I didn't do much modding. I either built to the instructions, or built 100% from scratch - maybe it never occured to me to mod the kits. Either way:

The extended axles imply a dually version is in the works...
Dood, I built my LEGO stock only once. I'd gut an entire model to move a window over one peg. Aesthetics are paramount.
